VG Details 1865 Spurious Lazy Deuce $2

Fr-387. New York City, Market National Bank. Toned and wrinkled, as should be expected for a well-circulated note. This one spent ages in circulation despite its spurious nature, a tribute to the maker of the piece. Horizontal tear and tape residue at right edge, lower right corned missing, otherwise just a typical VG note.
