Description
Provenance: Wreck of the HMS Feversham, sunk October 7, 1711. Deep steel-gray surfaces exhibit the slight graininess of a coin that spent time in the briny ocean depths before recovery. Off-center to 6 o'clock on the obverse, reverse centering fine. No extraneous marks. 44.75 grains. Ex Christie's sale of February 7, 1989.
