South Carolina. Kingstree. August, 1862. Unknown Merchant issuer. Evenly worn, lightly discolored, and somewhat crinkly; this one saw plenty of pocket-change duty. An extremely elusive scrip note, here with Serial No. 304. Redeemable in lots of $10 face value. No previous sales records were found for this denomination and town combination. Rare!
