Description

Fr-402.1st National Bank of Franklinville NY. Pinholes, Minor Rust noted on the back of the label. These aren't all that noticeable and probably irrelevant considering the notes rarity. Otherwise, crisp and bright for the grade, with proper centering and excellent aesthetics throughout. Fresh and bright with no signs of folding or creasing. Perhaps just the third known example of this rare bank and only the 2nd known of this denomination. A PCGS-53 example brought $6,600 in 2019, the most recent sale of this rarity that we could find. Bid as though you mean it for this lot. Charter No. 2345. Serial No. 558976/7010. Rare!
