VF-35 or Finer 1903-O Morgan Dollar

An altogether pleasing and original example of the date, the one-time "King" of the Morgan Dollars. In the late '50s and early '60s, this date was priced at $1,500 in VF in the Red Book, with no other date in the series close to that. Then came the Treasury releases of the early '60s, and now the date is affordable and available in most grades, including Mint State.
