NGC MS-61 BN 1828 Half Cent Error

A flashy lustrous tan colored example that show a light struck thru error on the obverse. This happened when a short piece of string, wire or hair was on the blank or die and then impressed in the coin when struck. Perhaps on the low end of the error totem pole but a mint error none the less.
