PCGS MS-66 CAC Intensely Colorful 1881-S Morgan

The blue, gold, purple and red toning on the obverse of this piece is nothing short of incredible and in our opinion is equal to or surpasses the intense colors seen in the 1880-S which brought $5820 in our Auction #120. That piece had a gold CAC sticker vs. the green sticker on this piece (perhaps some darker tone on the reverse kept this from a gold sticker?) But based purely on toning if we had to pick between the two this piece would win.
