EF Details 1794 Half Cent

Deep chocolate-brown with bold devices in spite of some uniform microgranularity that manifests itself under low magnification. Obverse planchet damage at 10 o'clock on the rim. All things considered, still an impressive piece when studied in-hand. EF bid for the date is over $4,000.
