Rarity 6 NGC Fine Details 1795 Bust Half Dollar

O-127a R-6. Fine Details Rim Damage. An original and choice appearing example. In fact, it's hard to see any damage at all. Perhaps there's a slight rim pinch, but nothing we haven't seen overlooked by grading companies many times on early coinage. Overton lists this variety as an R-5, but any recent offerings assign a rarity between low R-6 and High R-6. A PCGS F-12 realized just under $10,000 a few years ago.
