Early 19th-Century Washington Peace Medal

VF to EF or so. Not an original from the 1790s, but a remake done for collectors in the early 19th Century when Washington was the King of all things numismatically collectible. Hand-engraved after the style of the originals, and nicely done by a skilled artisan. Perhaps low-fineness silver, though it doesn't have the heft of the solid silver originals. A highly collectible piece of American numismatic history -- unless, of course, you're holding out for one of the $50,000+ originals!
