Original 1950-D Jefferson Nickel Roll

A BU roll that's housed in an unopened paper wrapper. Because of its relatively low mintage and a lot of hype, this date was widely hoarded in the 1960's. It's been written that one person held 1 million pieces. The price hit around $6 per coin in 1965 and has for the most part stayed very close to that figure since!
