Greece. Silver Tetradrachm of Alexander the Great

EF. In a custom-made 14K gold bezel. 336-328 BC. Alexander as Hercules obverse, Zeus seated reverse. A posthumous issue; Zeus's legs are crossed on the reverse. Choice for the grade with the appearance of a coin that has hung around someone's neck, smooth yet unmarked. The coin weighs approximately 17 grams, and the 14K bezel weighs about 8 grams. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Cardow Jewelers, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, of an unknown date.
