NGC Proof-64 1856 Flying Eagle Cent

Sharp and frosty with golden surfaces. The undisputed key to the entire small cent series, 1856-present. Nice mirrors with a small reverse plancher flaw. The argument rages over Proof and circulation strikes of this rare date, but we feel NGC got this one right. Rare and important no matter the grade or format, the 1856 "Flyer" tops many a small cent want list!
